Meet the founderMy Journey

My work grew out of a need to understand my own experience.

Living with chronic pain and severe health challenges from a young age led me to ask how I could care for myself while making sense of what I was feeling.

Movement was my starting point.

Through mind-body awareness practices, I began recognizing where I held tension and how I responded to discomfort. Paying attention to my body also brought my thoughts, emotions, and everyday patterns into focus.

Understanding my mindset became part of understanding my pain—and developing a different relationship with myself.

As I learned, I began teaching.

That personal exploration grew into almost a decade devoted to a mission-driven organization that put humanity and the Earth’s needs first.

I made that mission the center of my life, working alongside spiritual leaders and serving individuals and communities.

I taught in classes, retreats, and workplaces, then extended that work through videos, guided experiences, and online courses.

Creating became another way of teaching, allowing me to contribute to an online community of 500,000 humans.

Drawing on that experience, I founded The Modern Human Academy, an educational wellness platform offering courses and guided mind-body practices focused on self-awareness, emotional well-being, and personal growth.

The journey

The Experiences That Shape My Teaching

My education has taken me beyond certifications and studios. I’ve traveled to study, practice, and experience mind-body traditions within the cultures and environments that shaped them. These experiences continue to influence how I teach today—bringing together traditional practices, modern understanding, and years of hands-on teaching experience.
